30 Year Veteran of the Entreprenuer Wars Presses On!
Michael Mauldin is a transplanted Texan, who arrived in the Bay Area in 1974. Having heard the call to “go west young man” he came out west looking for fame and fortune in the Golden State. Prior to coming to California, Michael spent time in the seminary, completed degrees in English, Communications, and Philosophy. He moved to the San Francisco Bay area to seek his destiny.
He found the love of his life (married for 30 years), moved to Fremont, adopted children, and became an entrepreneur. Michael started his working career in film making then went into Public Relations. Living in Silicon Valley he got bit by the electronics bug and learned the electronic distribution business from the ground up. He started his first successful business venture in 1980 in electronics.In the 1990s he started a company in China, and worked with other companies doing business development. After 30 years and several start ups later, he knows the ups and downs of small businesses, and since 2000 has been consulting and coaching small businesses and individuals.
Michael and Wife enjoy their granddaughter, hiking, camping and working for environmental causes.
